JOB PROFILE

We are currently seeking a multi-skilled individual that will be open to a cross-functional role which includes customer service representation and veterinary assistance. This individual will be expected to provide the highest level of customer service and assist the veterinarian and other veterinary assistants/technicians in the care of animals.

 SCOPE OF WORK   

• Knowledge of basic patient care and animal husbandry
• Knowledge of vaccination and surgical protocols 
• Restrain patients during examinations 
• Obtain laboratory specimens
• Triage incoming texts, calls, and/or emails
• Appointment scheduling
• Payment processing
• Maintaining patient medical records
• Ability to demonstrate clarity and compassion in client interactions
• Attention to detail and organization
• Respect and maintain hospital protocols
• Adaptable to change
• Assist in maintaining work flow and culture
• Physical effort required in lifting and carrying patients as heavy as 40 pounds and standing for extended periods or time. 
• Working conditions include but are not limited to exposure to unpleasant odors, noises, bites, scratches and zoonotic diseases. 

 CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Minimum age requirement is 18 years of age.
• High school degree or higher.
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum 1 year experience in a veterinary setting
